A new slightly funked up version of ‘You Don’t Have to Try (to Hurt Me)” . This is again just a sketch for the band to lear the tune. But I’ll also probably practice it this way at some solo gigs.
The words for this refer to how some off handed remarks from someone close can cut. The reference to sleeping soldiers was inspired by Robert Blye’s “Iron John”
