What a Week
Had a great week but am tired today. Thursday and Friday schedule was wake up, walk dogs, get ready for gig, walk dogs, go to gig, gig, come home and walk dogs, go to work, come home, go to sleep for 5 hours, wake up, walk dogs, get ready for gig, walk dogs, go to gig, gig, go to work, come home sleep. I could use more weeks like this!

Walking the dogs
So I’m walking me dogs, thinking about the day ahead minding my own business. A blondy in a little car drives by, says out the window my digs are so cute. Suddenly the thoughts of my plans for the day are replaced by thoughts of… well other things. Blondy gave the geezer a thrill.

SO I worried all day on the 26th about this gig I had coming up. I had a heck of a time finding the piano player, drummer wasn’t returning my calls. Found the piano player, he wasn’t getting my emails. And this was for an agency and a friend so to do badly here was really not an option. I did the best I could to prepare things, then got in the car.

I submitted some of my songs to hellomusic.com. They sent me some really good information and feedback. However, I keep forgetting that they are evaluating songs compared to “hits” I never wrote anything that remotely resembles a “hit”. I don’t think I can. New Song Coming Soon
The schedule for the year is to release 1 song a month. Next one will be released on Jan 15. Possibly ambitious, but definitely doable these days. The hardest part is trying to fill in the genre boxes and tags over there, because I am not sure where a lot of this music falls in. I have never been able to pick a genre and write in it.
